On October 13, 2017. An information meeting on the launch of the project "Family - school - society: knowledgeable, capable, successful" was held in the Secondary School of Transport - Razlog. The director Mrs. Emilia Yordanova, who is the project manager and Prof. Dr. Yanka Totseva, who represents the partner NGO "Ethnotolerance" presented their expectations for the work on the project.

Parents and teachers, participants in the "Partnership Academy", which is implemented with the participation of NGO "Ethnotolerance" had the opportunity to participate in the first training conducted by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Joseph Nunev on the topic: "Working together between family and school ".

On May 26 and 27, 2017. in Hemus Hotel, Sofia SIETAR-Bulgaria and the International Society "Elias Canetti" with the kind participation of the Association "Ethnotolerance" and the electronic magazine "Rhetoric and Communications" held a conference on "INTERCULTURALISM AND BILINGUALISM"

The main problem-thematic sections were:

Interculturalism in the new geo-political situation.
New dimensions of interculturalism in education, linguistic and literary research and practices.
Bilingualism in the sciences of education and philology:
- Mastering the language in childhood (psycholinguistic, sociolinguistic and other aspects)

- Methodology of teaching children with another mother tongue in preschool and primary school age.

The conference was attended by over 50 people - university professors, teachers, experts from the NGO sector, guests from Bulgarian schools in Germany and others.

On July 1, 2016. The annual conference of SIETAR - Bulgaria was held.

For the fifth consecutive year, the host is Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski ”. The co-organizer is the NGO "Ethnotolerance" and the media partner is the electronic scientific journal "Rhetoric and Communications".

At the opening of the conference Prof. Dr. Yanka Totseva - Chairman of the Board of the Association "Ethnotolerance", as well as Chairman of the Board of SIETAR - Bulgaria and a member of the Board of SIETAR - Europe focused on the upcoming Congress of SIETAR - Europe, which will be held from 22 to 27 May 2017. in Dublin on "21st Century Waves of Change: Cultural Dexterity for Turbulent Times".

The work of the conference took place within two panels.

Leading the first - Multiculturalism in the new geopolitical situation and theoretical perspectives was Prof. Tsvetan Davidkov, and the second - Multiculturalism - new dimensions in the sciences of education, linguistic and literary research and practice - Prof. Plamen Makariev.

Ten reports were presented at the conference by lecturers at Sofia University "Kliment Ohridski", Technical University - Sofia, European Polytechnic University - Pernik, National Sports Academy "Vasil Levski" - Sofia, University of Ruse "Angel Kanchev" and Shumen University "Bishop Konstantin Preslavski" .

The thematic highlights in the first panel were related to the analysis of the semiotic, narrative and archetypal aspects of multiculturalism; cultural identity; the limits of intercultural competence, recognition, tolerance, manipulation; the connection of feminism with multiculturalism.

The second panel presented and discussed the problems of European identity and multiculturalism in speeches of Bulgarian and European politicians; the multicultural dimensions of Roma and social integration, as well as Olympic education and the study of translated literature in primary school as a basis for learning about the multicultural world.
